Wanderlust

So it's the night before we leave and I can't really wrap my mind around the fact that it's finally here. We planned this whole trip out soooooo long ago that it never really seemed real and sort of still doesn't. Quick recap: We will get to MSP airport around 2pm and take off at 4pm for Chicago. We will fly out of Chicago to Taiwan at 12am. Then we will fly from Taiwan at 6am Tuesday morning (time changes are insane) and finally land in Bangkok at 11am on Tuesday January 2. Check out the map below. Today was kind of a rough day for me. We did our last tanning session yesterday and I burned myself in a bunch of spots because I'm an idiot. I didn't sleep well last night because of that (like 4 hours of sleep). We drove up to Alexandria to visit Lacey's mom's family which was great buuuuut we had to drop off our cat, Loki. Merry Christmas to everyone! Lacey and I had a super awesome, great Christmas. It was fun to spend time with family and I'm so thankful for all the food and gifts and time spent together. So we are 3 days out now. It's crunch time! This is going to be a boring post because I'm trying to get my blogging muscles back in shape. So if you're not that interested in small details or lists, this isn't the blog post (or blog?) for you lol.  Here's some things we're getting ready: We submitted and got our Cambodia visas. Some countries just let you into the country with a passport while others require a fee and some more paperwork. Cambodia is especially weird because they require a passport photo as well as the extra paperwork. So I got our pics scanned in and they approved our visas.
