Getting Closer! - More Trip Plans and Thoughts
We haven't blogged in a while because we've been sitting and ticking down the days to our next trip!
Here's the day by day plan for the trip:
September 26 - Fly out of MSP at 12pm
September 27 - Land in Paris at 7am. Explore!
September 28 - Paris Exploring
September 29 - Maybe Mont St. Michel? Maybe Versailles? Maybe more Paris?
September 30 - Fly to Fes, Morocco at 1:30pm. Explore Medina in the evening.
October 1 - Fes all day. Cooking class or small tour maybe?
October 2 - Take a bus to Chefchaouen, explore small Moroccan mountain town.
October 3 - Enjoy small town in the morning, get back to Fes and explore more.
October 4 - More Fes, then fly to Lisbon at 4:30pm.
October 5 - Lisbon day
October 6 - Maybe rent car or motorbike and drive along coast?
October 7 - Take train to Porto and see a smaller Portugal town
October 8 - Fly back to Paris at 8:30am, more Paris.
October 9 - Fly back to MSP at 10:30am.
Phew! That's kind of a lot of traveling and moving around but it'll let us see a TON of different areas and locales and sights and smells and tastes and oh man we are excited!

Lacey is most excited about seeing the smaller towns like Chefchaouen in Morocco and Porto in Portugal. She's also excited to eat fun food. I'm most excited to see Paris again. Also, I'm absolutely in love with the ocean so Lisbon and driving along the Atlantic coast is a dream of mine.
We dropped our cat, Loki, off at Lacey's mom's house on Sunday. She's being very helpful to us and is watching him while we are away on our trip. It's always tough to drop him off but especially hard this time because we will have a couple days at home without him. We've been living at our apartment for about 2 and a half years and Loki has been with us for over 2 of those years. Long story short, we miss our fur baby but time will fly by once we're traveling.
Other than that, it's just getting stuff ready to go. I bought a new pair of jeans and Lacey bought some new flowy pants for Morocco. We already have our passports and printed all the info off and have our backpacks already. Only 2 more days till we will be on the way to the airport!!
